How does it work?
When you book the game, we agree on the day and time it will start. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply reschedule. At the start you’ll get a tablet with the game app and a case with equipment – and off you go. The route is a loop, so you’ll return to the starting point. We’ll be waiting there to take the gear back.
What can the tablet do?
First of all, it navigates: it always shows you a map with the point you should reach (stage/task). While walking you’ll see your moving position marker. When you get close to a stage, the task and instructions pop up automatically. After you solve/skip a task (more on that below), the tablet shows the map to the next one. It can also speak, so you can play the task text as audio.
What’s in the case?
Mosquito repellent, a cat treat pouch, and a printed map of the route in case the tablet fails for any reason. Plus every tool you’ll need to crack the tasks. The app will tell you which tool to use and when.
What if we can’t solve something?
That can happen, but no worries – each task has a hint icon. Click it to learn how to approach the solution (not the solution itself).
And if we get completely stuck?
We thought of that too – every task can be skipped via a little flag icon. You won’t get stuck; the task is skipped and you’ll see the map to the next one.
How long and demanding is the route?
The route is 1.3 km long and can be walked in 30 minutes without solving puzzles. With puzzles it’s more like 2.5 hours. Difficulty: you’ll walk on park paths and trails the whole time.
What’s the best group size?
Hard to say, but at least two – for safety reasons we don’t allow solo players. Sometimes three is ideal, sometimes seven; it depends on your personalities and how well you coordinate and share the experience :)
How much does it cost?
The price per game is 1,800 CZK. Regardless of how many of you play or how long you take (you’re only limited by the tablet battery + the power bank in the case. Together they should last at least 6 hours).
